faq

My photography approach is often described as fresh and creative photojournalism.

I like to photograph your as story as it unfolds naturally, capturing real moments and real emotion. I try to blend in, and unobtrusively tell your story without interfering, to capture the best reactions possible. You won’t believe how quickly your day will pass, and I want you to have an amazing collection of photographs to remember it by.

However, I like to put a lot of time and energy into the portraits of the two of you, to create something unique and different, but with still keeping a more candid feel. I love to find interesting light, use unusual techniques, and get experimental to make your wedding portraits into something fun and creative.

What kind of wedding packages do you offer?

I offer packages that consist of half day (6 hours), and full day (10 hours). I also have an hourly rate for those who are having smaller weddings or are eloping.

Do you have a second shooter?

I shoot the majority of weddings solo, but offer a second shooter a la carte at an hourly rate.

Can I order prints + albums from you?

Yes! I am a huge fan of print over digital. There’s just something about flipping through photographs in an album, or seeing them displayed on a wall in your home versus viewing them on a computer screen.

So, do you travel?

Absolutely! I have traveled all over for weddings, and take on assignments in Sydney and Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Moncton, New Brunswick, St. John’s Newfoundland, and Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, as well as my local area of Halifax and the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. Although I have cut down on destination weddings, I still take on a limited number each year, and serve Tamarindo and Arenal, Costa Rica; Playa Del Carmen, Cozumel, Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, San Jose Del Cabo, and Sayulita, Mexico; St. Lucia; Dublin, and all of Ireland; Glasgow, and all of Scotland.
